Get active on the event platform! We will offer opportunities to meet and connect through social hours, activations, and live interactive sessions.
Yes, content from all sessions will be made available on the On Demand tab within 24 hours of the conclusion of the session. You will be able to access the On Demand content from within the virtual platform until September 20, 2021.
To access the virtual event platform you must use the email that you registered with. Please refer to your confirmation email to see the email address used to register or email techsummit@typeaevents.com.
The site will be available for on-demand viewing through September 20, 2021.
No, we will have interactive chat within the Tech Summit virtual event platform. You will see areas for questions and areas for general chatter.
If you opted into receiving Tech Summit swag during registration AND you registered before Monday, August 2, you should expect to receive your swag before the start of Tech Summit.
For those registered between August 2 and August 9, you can expect your swag to arrive the week following the event.

We are changing things up this year and have decided that all points collected via the Give Back game will go towards a charitable donation to Technovation.
Databricks is committed to creating a safe and inclusive virtual experience for all attendees, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. All communication — including at the event and various associated venues, as well as online — should be appropriate for a professional audience, including people of many different backgrounds and experiences. Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other attendees. Act professionally. Remember that harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not appropriate at any time at any event organized by Databricks.
For all chat interactions during Tech Summit, we expect attendees to abide by the event’s Code of Conduct to ensure the environment remains productive and respectful. The following chat guidelines will further help ensure we maintain an inclusive virtual experience throughout our event:
Be respectful of others.
Avoid conflicts and arguments.
Use common sense, kindness, and consideration together with the guidelines outlined above.
If you intend to participate in any video conference during the event, please make sure to dress appropriately.
If an attendee engages in behavior that doesn’t comply with these expectations, Databricks may take any action that we deem appropriate, including warning the Attendee, excluding the Attendee from certain activities, expelling the Attendees from the virtual experience, banning the Attendee from online chats and other similar type experiences. Attendees asked to stop any harassing or other unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately. Anyone violating these rules may be asked to leave the virtual experience and be subject to other disciplinary action as appropriate.
Please note, while we take all concerns raised seriously, we will use our discretion to determine when and how to follow up on reported incidents, and may decline to take any further action and/or may direct the participant to other resources to address the concern.
If you have any concerns and need to report an issue during Tech Summit, please contact Tech Summit Organizers at techsummit@typeaevents.com and provide your name, phone number, email and a description of the situation. Organizers can only address complaints for behavior in the Virtual Event. For concerns relating to matters outside of Tech Summit, please contact peopleops@databricks.com.
